After the 4:0 victory of the German national team against Australia, the ZDF Fan Expert Dennis Wiese has been in the ZDF World Cup Studio in South Africa with Oliver Kahn and Katrin Mülller-Hohenstein for the first time. As "the voice of the fans" Dennis Wiese represented the opinion of the fans. On the website www.fanorakel.de soccer fans have the chance to express their opinion on subjects like the loud Vuvuzelas and Miroslav Klose. Two out of three fans voted that the Vuvuzelas are too loud and annoying, one third say they are cool. For 81% of the fans it has been the right choice to put Miroslav Klose as the only player up front. Oliver Kahn has been inspired by the achievement of the German national team: "What we have seen today, was fantastic. It was a perfectly organized game. There were many rehearsed moves, the team is fit. This was a perfect start and a perfect evening."

This was reason enough for him to write a book especially for them - to motivate them, to show them that pursuing it one’s dreams is worth the trouble. His advice: Set goals, find friends you can rely on such as in a football team. Learn from defeats.
The fact that not everything works at the beginning is something Oliver Kahn has learned from experience: from his time in the under-17 team of the Karlsruher SC football club, from his first match in the German Premier League, during which he had to concede four goals, or from the famous World Cup final 2002. This book is personal, colourful, and brimming with motivating messages and stories. Personally, clearly, full of motivating messages and stories: A book that makes young people strong – and which allows to believe in themselves and their own dreams.

Dennis Wiese from Berlin will be the first ZDF Fan Expert at the Football World Cup in South Africa. Besides the presenter Kathrin Müller-Hohenstein and Oliver Kahn the 26-year-old student will analyse the world championship games in South Africa for the German TV station ZDF - from the point of view of the football fans. The 26-year-old student could assert himself in the final casting against the remained four competitors. Now he is allowed to call himself the first official "Fan Expert". The Berlin resident persuaded the jury with his spontaneity.
Since beginning of April ZDF was looking for the Fan Expert for the Football World Cup in 2010 together with www.fanorakel.de and the kicker sports magazine. Beside specialist knowledge the candidates had to prove their mediagenic-ness in an application video.
As "the voice of the fans" Dennis Wiese will be integrated into the world championship reporting of the ZDF and comment on the tournament from the point of view of the fans. In addition, he will get an impression of how the ZDF reporting works and stands close in dialogue with the fans on site.

From now on football fans have the possibility to express their opinion to numerous questions all around the football national team and the German Bundesliga on the website www.fanorakel.de.
Fans who register on the website www.fanorakel.de and try to reach score by showing big football competence receive a special chance: The fan who proves his expertise on www.fanorakel.de has the unique opportunity to fly to South Africa to host on German TV station ZDF besides Oliver Kahn and Kathrin Müller-Hohenstein and to reflect the opinion of the fans as the ZDF Fan Expert. In cooperation with kicker sports magazine and www.fanorakel.de ZDF is looking for the ZDF Fan Expert for the Football World Cup in 2010. The ZDF Fan Expert will be integrated as the „voice of the fans“ in the World Cup coverage of the ZDF. He will comment the tournament from the perspective of the fans.

At the ECHO Award show in Berlin Oliver Kahn held a laudatory speech for Robbie Williams who was granted the best international artist in the category Rock/Pop. It is already the seventh Echo for the British singer.
Oliver Kahn remarked that Robbie Williams belongs to the category of artists which "constantly affirm their success and therefore they are real and true superstars." He explained his sympathy to Williams with the fact that he also is "an absolute, fanatical and confessing football fan".
Oliver Kahn handed Williams the trophy with the words:
"Robbie Williams is a real titan".

The most sucessful German goalkeeper of all ages, Oliver Kahn, was honoured with the ISPO cup this year. Since 1971 top athletes who take an ideal function for young people receive the award for the international sports business network ispo.
Oliver Kahn was awarded with the ISPO Cup not only because he is a top athlete but also because he advocates himself for different youth projects after the end of his soccer career. In the context of the „I can do it Tour with Oliver Kahn“, an initiative of the German child welfare association and easy living, the triple world goalkeeper exerts himself increasingly for the motivation of young people at Bavarian schools.
The ISPO Cup was handed within the scope of ispo10 by Klaus Dittrich, CEO of the fair München GmbH. Laudator was Sepp Maier, Oliver Kahn's idol and long-standing goalkeeper coach.

To anchor the subject motivation, mental strength and dealing with defeats in the German educational system Oliver Kahn went to twelve schools in Bavaria in order to introduce the students and teachers in his motivation program “I can do it”.
On December 7th 2009 the persuasive final of Oliver Kahns Tour “I can do it” took place in Königsbrunn near Augsburg: More than 600 students took part in this for now last school event of Oliver Kahns Tour. Together with Oliver Kahn they talked about motivation, goals and how to deal with defeats.
The program aims to strengthen the personal development of teenagers, provides them with perspectives and encourages them to set and to strive to achieve personal goals.An important component of this program is the further education of the teachers at the schools with the aim to be able to support the young people in their plans.
The Tour "I can do it" contained the visit of one special school, three high schools, five intermediate secondary schools and seven secondary general schools. About 4200 students took part at these school events with Oliver Kahn. In order to ensure sustainability more than 250 teachers were further educated in the principles of the "I can do it" program.

On November 2nd 2009 at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan, Robert Wilson was honoured with the French award "Trophée des Arts" for his unusal career.
His pioneering works were introduced in all important institutions in Paris. In 2003 he was appointed to 'Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres' by the French minister of culture.
"I am very honoured to receive this award", said Wilson. "France and particulary Paris always have been an artistic home for me. Since 'The murder from Deafman glance' in 1971, I have presented more than 35 theatre pieces in Paris. No other city, no other country knows my work better."
The French actress Isabelle Huppert who handed the award to her friend Wilson said in her laudatio:” Through him theatre becomes a playground of infinite freedom."

After the summer break Oliver Kahn now continues his motivational tour, an initiative of easy living and the Deutsche Kinderschutzbund (German child protection agency), through schools in Bavaria.
The program aims to strengthen the kids in their development, to give them perspectives and to encourage them to set goals for themselves and to track these forcefully.
Besides, the program involves trainings for each school’s teachers so that they can support the kids better in their plans.
9 schools were already visited by Oliver Kahn, 3 are still looking forward to it.

From the 16th of October 2009 Robert Wilson's video portraits exhibit in the collection Falckenberg, Phoenix-Hallen Hamburg and in the "Kunsthalle Hamburg".
40 of his most colourful and often bizarre video portraits of celebrities like Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp or Dita van Teese are shown. They all bear the typical signature of Wilson.
On the 16th of October during the opening of the exhibition, Robert Wilson received the medal for art and science from cultural senator Karin von Welck. In her laudation von Welck praised his legendary Hamburg productions as well as his outstanding artistic commitment for disabled young people. Wilson himself thanked “this beautiful city for supporting my work and for giving me a home.”
The exhibition runs from the 17th of October 2009 until the 10th of January 2010.

On the 2nd of July 2009 the first episode of Oliver Kahn’s TV casting show ‘I never give up- the Kahn principle’ will be broadcasted on the Chinese TV channel Heilongjiang Satellite TV. 9 further episodes will follow weekly.
The TV show is a competition show with all its typical amusing and exciting facets. The serious sport takes the centre stage. The up and coming goalkeeper in China is being searched. In many workouts and testing units the candidates need to prove, that besides their technical qualifications, they also have the inner attitude to establish themselves and move up to the top. They need to face up challenges, which sometimes might be quite hard, so that their strengths and weaknesses can be revealed. In each of the ten episodes one candidate will be eliminated. The winner of the show may go to Germany to attend the DFB elite school Berger Feld so that he can continue to develop himself and therefore build up a basis for a successful career in sports.

At the last Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in January, 6 young people from Gangway e.V. already were involved into the Eastpak fashion show. Since then, with the support of prominent godparents from the areas choreography, music and styling (e.g. Boris Entrup, André Märtens, D!sWorld, Die Füchse Berlin), they were brought closer and closer to the great project Fashionshow July 2009 and were integrated into the organizing team.
With this effective commitment EASTPAK wants to provide young people with difficult social background with new perspectives and chances. The implementation of the shared dream to realize a fashion show worldwide respected on the highest level might be the key of success to give these young people the required self confidence in order to take responsibility for their own lives.
Of course the preparation for the current fashion show already started. In weekly workshops and coaching with professionals teenagers aged from 14-24 years get to know life and work in the world of fashion and therefore get introduced into an everyday life which normally would be closed for them. The projects’ patron is Harald Wolf, senator for economy, technology and women in Berlin. For the co-operation with EASTPAK and Gangway e.V. The book shows from Cleopatra and Elizabeth I. over Marilyn Monroe up to Dita von Teese how the ideal of beauty and the make-up trends changed from era to era. But beauty can not be reached with make-up alone, a great part also results from the inside. A balanced way of living, the right food and thorough care provide the basis for well-being and a beautiful skin. In the book there are numerous useful tips and information to do the best for oneself. Make-up is a possibility to improve the appearance in a positive way. Since the beginning of this year Boris Entrup is part of ‘Meisterfotografen’ (master photographers) project: ‘Simone Bruns from Hamburg asked me if I would fancy being responsible for the beauty styling for the ‘Meisterfotografen’. I liked the idea that private persons could present themselves, like it was usually only possible for the stars and VIPs - the whole team behind ‘Meisterfotografen’, which only consists of experienced top people- convinced me and therefore I accepted.’
The first Meisterfotografen commitment Boris did was for the Hamburger Abendblatt (daily evening paper) (Nr 111/2.5.2009, 8-page series appeared in journal). It was about portraying 4 private persons, who were never posed in front of a camera for a professional shooting before.

On the 17th of May 2009 the charity event ‘Celebrity Entertainment Night’ of the Maybach foundation and the Sunflower-Children foundation takes place within the film festivals in Cannes. At this event one can purchase ‘One day with Boris Entrup, the head of Make-up of the Berlin fashion week in Berlin’ by auction for a good aim. The revenue will be inured to the benefit of charitable projects of the Maybach foundation and the Sunflower foundation. The events’ host is Edward Norton. The successful auctioneer can amongst other things expect a meeting and a personal makeover from Boris Entrup including tips and tricks. Additionally she’ll get a hand-signed edition of Boris’ new fashion guidebook ‘Make-up. Einfach schön aussehen!’ (‘Make-up. Simply good looking!’) and a great framework program around the Berlin Fashion Week.

The American stage director Robert Wilson and the pop singer Rufus Wainright were wildly celebrated at the opening night of the act version of ‘Shakespeare’s Sonetten’ at the Berliner Ensemble on Easter Sunday.
Wilson created his silhouette theatre with actors in flashy make-up and picturesque oversubscribed stage costumes from Shakespeare’s time. For the 3 hour lasting evening he chose about 25 sonnets about love, passion, hatred and death, in most of which Shakespeare worships an unknown blonde youth. Wainright created music as a mixture of his melancholic songs, hard rock and with the style of composers like Kurt Weil.

Oliver Kahn received two awards for his activity as football expert. Oliver Kahn obtained the Herbert Award as "Newcomer of the year". It is named after the legendary reporter Herbert Zimmermann and the awardees are chosen by Germany's top athletes.
The Radio Regenbogen Award is another honouring Oliver Kahn received in Karlsruhe. He was honoured as "Medienmann 2008" for his successful work as an expert for the ZDF.

Oliver Kahn is new ambassador of DFB's Sepp Herberger Foundation. The long-standing international goalkeeper is in one row with famous football players like Uwe Seeler, Horst Eckel and Helmut Haller.
As within the "Ich schaff's" programm, which supports the motivation at schools, Oliver Kahn will be espacially concerned with children and teenager projects. For this purpose he will be active for "Anstoß für ein neues Leben", an integrative football project for young people in jail, as well as for the nationwide "Sepp-Herberger-Tag" which zur supports football at elementary schools.
Oliver Kahn says: "As teenager I was not the biggest talent, but to achieve my goals I worked with patience, inveteracy and commitment. I want to pass this experience to young people. They have to set their objectives on their own &ndash this is the only way they can reach their dreams and wishes under their own steam. The Sepp Herberger Foundation promotes football projetcs for young people with same purposes, therefore I look forward to work together with Uwe Seeler, Horst Eckel and Helmut Haller".

The „ich schaff's Tour mit Oliver Kahn”, a project by easy living and the Deutscher Kinderschutzbund Bundesverband e.V. started at the Städtisches St. Anna Gymnasium Munich.
More than 200 students were present when Oliver Kahn presented the „ich schaff`s" program together with the director of the „ich schaff's” institute Dr. Thomas Hegemann.
Oliver Kahn reported about his period as a professional, how important it was for him to set objectives, to remember his successes, to build a system of helping people and especially to emerge strengthened out of defeats: „You don't need the best to reach your goals or win but the toughest.”
The „ich schaff's Tour mit Oliver Kahn”'s objective is a sustainably realization of the progrann at Bavarian schools.
The first visit at a school was a great success: At the St. Anna Gymnasium Munich 27 teachers are trained for the program.
During 2009 Oliver Kahn will present the program together with easy living an the Deutscher Kinderschutzbund Bundesverband e.V. at eleven additional schools.
