Robert Wilson is an internationally acclaimed American artist, considered the world's leading avant-garde theatre artist.

His stage productions are considered to be revolutionary. He himself is regarded as a visionary who has created extraordinary productions and brought change to the international world of theatre like almost no other with his seminal stage designs.

The Threepenny Opera production in the Berliner Ensemble caused a furore in 2007.

In 2010, Robert Wilson will stage „Jewels of Ballet“.

Stage productions

Since 1969, Robert Wilson has put on shows all over the world, often several a year, as well as working as a painter and graphic artist.
