The band |
The five band members were brought together by US boy band guru Lou Pearlman and marketed internationally in the seven-part TV series Big in America. After Big in America went on air in May and June of 2005, the single \"Maria\" came out at the beginning of July. It debuted at Number 2 on the German singles charts was Number 1 for four weeks. The other singles \"Just Because of You\", \"Come Back to Me Baby\" and \"Mama\" also went Top 5, just like the first album \"Here We Go\", which went Gold and Platinum. Further Top 10 hits followed. When Mikel left the band in October 2007 to pursue a solo career, he was replaced by the curly-headed 15 year-old Vincent Tomas. \"Vince\" had performed his way into the band ahead of 2,000 hopefuls in a series of castings in the USA. |

Izzy Galegos (*1983) from Stockton, California was previously a musician in the band "Exact".
Tariq Jay Khan (*1982) from London has been in the music business since he was 16 (TK-Roxx for Tariq Khan Rocks) and he has written several hits for US5 and other bands (such as Overground).
Christopher Richard "Richie" Stringini (*1988) from Wheaton, Illinois was a child actor and model.
Vincent Tomas (*1992) from Los Angeles, California, has been in various commercials, modelled and taken acting lessons.
Cayce Clayton (*1988) from Atascadero, California, has been in various commercials, modelled and taken acting lessons.

Greatest successes |
The first album "Here we go" went Gold and Platinm. The singles "Just Because Of You”, "Come Back To Me Baby” and "Mama” went Top 5.
In October 2006 their fifth single "In the Club" from their second album "In Control" came onto the market. The "US5 Style" with a strong R&B influence is easy to recognize in it, and it debuted at No. 2 on the single charts, with the album starting at No. 6.
The second single "One Night With You" that came out in January 2007 peaked at No. 2 on the German single charts.
At the beginning of 2007 the first album went Gold in Poland after four weeks. The second even went Gold in February, before even making it to the stores, thanks to advance sales. With their single "Rhythm of Life" that went out in June 2007, US5 debuted in the Top 5 of the German charts for the seventh consecutive time. |
